Spitti
A Spitti is a purebred Valais Blacknose with reverse colouring, being predominantly black. Some can feature a more splotchy pattern. The word Spitti is a Swiss slang word that means black and white. They are considered to be good luck in Switzerland.
Spittis are rare, about 1 in 100 sheep. Spitti ewes can be used for breeding and typically produce normally marked lambs. Spitti rams should be castrated and not used for breeding.
